Brahmani Mata Mata-Sewari

Location:

Sewari is is one of the largest villages in Bali Tehsil in Pali District, amidst the Aravali Range. It is located 88 KM from District Pali, 5 KM from Bali and 378 KM from State capital Jaipur. Sewari Pin code is 306707 and postal head office is Sewari. Lunawa, Bijapur, Boya, Sesli, Peepla are the nearby Villages to Sewari. Bali, Sadri, Falna, Sumerpur are the near by Cities to Sewari.

The village has been called Shri Wadi, Shatvatika, Shwet Pati, Seemapati, Shiv wadi-Sewadi. There are various tribes living in the Aravalli Mountain Range. There is a Sewari dam and the  the old stepwells are near Khetlaji Temple and Ramdwara temple.The Govt. Higher Secondary Secondary School is very old and famous educational institution in the area. From the last 10 years there is also an Ayurvedic Manufacturing unit for various diseases, named Luna Pharma, is a GMP certified.

In this village there are many Hindu and Jain old temples. Such as  Shri Charbhuja Temple, is from Kushan period, Khetla Ji Mandir is oldest one and  Sonana Khetlaji Mela is one of the famous  celebrated  event every year.

Brahmani Mataji Mandir is 100 years old, Ambe mataji,  Maha Laxmiji, Nimbaja Maata, Chamunda Mataji. Somnath Mahadev mandir near Barla Vera, are the few temples in and around Sewadi.

Shri Mahakalii Mandir situated in near by Shri Khetlaji temple, was first build by Shri Dasaji Rao kharwad about 1331 Ishvi. and Rao  Samajsewari modified this temple on 27 April 1990 by pranpartishtha.

One of the earliest Bhumija temples of Bhagwan Mahaveer was built in Vikram Samvat 1167 and 1172. This is an 11th-century temple is an elegant brick-built structure, called Pancha-Rathas temple, with five plasters. In Vikaram Samvat 2014, the temple has been renovated and Shantinath has been place inside and old statue of Bhagwan Mahveer is placed outside for the prosperity of the village as per one Jain Acharya. There are 52 jinalay in Sewari. Three-storeyed pavilion, made in stone, located nearby New Bus Stand Pali.
