History of Bath (Nahan) of Sangod:
Magician’s Paradise: ‘Sangod Nahan’ of Kota is a folk festival, celebrated on Holi in the princely state, continues to be around 300 years. It is believed that magic and tricks used to be common here at that time. Magicians from far and wide traveled to this place to showcase their art and compete with each other. It is said that the magicians from this place defeated even the magician from Bengal. Magicians of Bundi’s Silor and Gandoli also dominated in Hadoti. In their memory even today, the Aasan 0r throne of Sangod, Silor and Gandoli are kept in the tradition of Nahan of Sangod.
It is said that Bhanumati, the sorceress of Bengal, also came here to show her tricks, she used to show traick where she made humans into wax fly. But magicians from Sangod defeated her.
At present the Nahan starts, after Holi. There are other events that take place including
